Although it’s winter, the weather was pretty cooperative for Laurie and Andy’s engagement shoot, so we got to go outside for a bit.  It was so fun.  They were great sports as I kept squeezing them together: “Even closer, guys!”

That same day we took a picture of all the kids to give to my mom for Christmas.  Our shoot was just short of a disaster (2 rowdy kids, one tired baby, bad lighting, ugh…), but thanks to some Photoshop magic we made the picture happen!

 

I know I’ve been missing in action a bit lately from here, I am not currently taking on clients.  I’m focusing on my new blog, Polished Picture.  I wanted to start a resource for photographers wanting to learn how to edit their photos.  I’m certainly no expert, but I wanted to create a place to share what I’ve learned and for others to share as well.  I’m finishing up a few more clients I have, and then you’ll probably see mostly friends and family here on this blog.  :)   Just in case you were wondering!
